Passage #476: 24 October 2018

That's a Picnic

We're not afraid to ask the tough questions around here, no ma'am, no sir. For instance, when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, what kind of a pizza is it? Is it thin crust? Deep dish? What sorts of toppings? Like we said: the tough questions. Now as to answering those questions, well, we could scarcely presume, because we believe that pizza is in the eye of the beholder. The deep subjectivity of pizza notwithstanding, however, we can at least say one thing for certain: we are HAVING A PICNIC this week! Yes, we are once again observing our wildly inconsistent "tradition" of eating food under the full moon, when said full moon falls on a Wednesday.

So: BRING FOOD to share, perhaps something that would make a fitting accompaniment to moon pizza, whatever kind of pizza that is. Or if you don't believe in pizza (and let's be honest, there is probably no literal pizza on this ride), just bring some food that would be a fitting accompaniment to the moon itself. Moon pies? A cheese plate, maybe? We can only let you answer the tough questions for yourselves.
